Groups

Alcohol and Other Drug Use Group

Wednesdays, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

This group provides support for students who are reassessing their use of alcohol and/or other drugs.  We will build and maintain motivation, learn to set personal goals, gain strategies for leading a more balanced and satisfying life, and make choices that are right for you.  This group will provide useful information about the nature of addiction and understanding the potential impact of alcohol and other drugs widely used by college students. This is also a harm reduction group which provides a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment to discuss your relationship with alcohol and drugs.  Abstinence is not required.  This is not a 12-step group. A screening appointment is required to participate in the group.

Facilitators: Ambika Kasbekar & Erika Epps
