Internship

Welcome to our Doctoral Internship Program in Health Service Psychology at the Student Counseling Service, Texas A&M University. We are in our 32nd consecutive year of APA accreditation and we, as a staff, are committed to developing and offering one of the best possible internship programs in the nation. We strongly abide by the principles and ideals of our diversity statement. We received full APA accreditation in the Winter of 2012 and our next site visit will be in 2019. As a staff, we are very invested in our internship and are committed to the highest level of excellence in our training. I am always excited with the energy level of our training program and the diversity of each new intern class. I encourage you to look over our materials and if you have any questions feel free to contact me. Good luck in your search for the program that best suits you and your needs. I know that the process of intern selection can be a long and stressful journey, but remember that you bring to the application process intensive training and experience, having much to offer the site you choose. Try to find a good match based on your own personal training needs. If after reading our materials you believe our program is a good fit for you - we welcome your application.

Sincerely,
Mary Ann Covey, Ph.D.
