Doctoral Internship

The Doctoral Internship Program in Health Service Psychology at the Student Counseling Service, Texas A&M University has been accredited by APA for over 25 years.  As a staff, we are very invested in our internship and are committed to the highest level of excellence in our training. 

Doctoral-Level Practicum

The Student Counseling Service offers a semester-long advanced practicum training experience in individual, personal counseling. The practicum is a 16 hour per week commitment. The requirements of those 16 hours are outlined in the Doctoral-Level Practicum Program Overview. Supervision is provided by current doctoral interns (who are themselves supervised by senior level psychologists) as well as by senior staff.

Masters-Level Internship

The Student Counseling Service offers a year-long advanced practicum training experience in individual, personal counseling. The practicum is a 22 hour per week commitment. The requirements of those 22 hours are outlined in the Masters-Level Internship Program Overview. Supervision is provided by licensed senior staff clinicians.
