Ambika Kasbekar Bio

Professional Counselor I

Personal Statement: I am excited to be a part of the SCS staff!  Before I called Aggieland “home,” I lived in the Midwest for several years.  I have also lived overseas in India and South Korea. College can be a rewarding and challenging time, and I feel fortunate that I get to work with students to help process through concerns that may be impacting them personally, academically, or professionally.  I try to create a brave space through the therapeutic relationship so that students can feel empowered to voice their thoughts and feelings honestly, and increase their self-efficacy.

When I’m not at the SCS, I enjoy trying new foods, and keeping in touch with friends and family all over the world.
