Bethany Smith Bio

Professional Counselor III

Personal Statement:
I am excited to be at Texas A&M University to work with current Aggies!  College is such a formative time in life where a lot of development, decision-making, and life changes occur. I take a holistic approach to this in my counseling and consider all pieces of the person when helping students. Working with them in a collaborative relationship while seeing them tackle challenges and grow is very rewarding to me.  I hope to support students through their own process of discovery of who they are and where they want to go in life.  Outside of work, I enjoy music, singing, reading, movies, and spending time with my husband, our two dogs, and our family and friends.
