Brian Kaspar Bio

Licensed Professional Counselor

Personal Statement:

Brian KasparI consider it a privilege to provide counseling to the students of Texas A&M University. My role is dedicated to serving the counseling needs of the Corps of Cadets, and my office is located on the quad right where they live and learn. The Corps of Cadets has a rich history and culture, about which I am learning more every day.

College is a challenging time full of excitement and growth. Students are discovering who they are on many levels, and counseling can help them enrich that process. My goal is to develop a therapeutic relationship with clients that allows them a safe space to explore their values, beliefs and goals. I encourage clients to consider how their thinking leads to their emotions and behavior, and together we explore alternatives to ways of thinking that are self-defeating. Tapping into clients’ strengths and building on their past successes provides a foundation for lifelong development and accomplishment.

In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with my family.
