Jenny Kenley Bio

Professional Counselor III

Personal Statement:
My professional interests include working with college students as they navigate university life. My model of therapy is student centered and I strive to meet each student where they are on their personal journey. I focus on treating the whole person and am constantly challenged and intrigued by the art of therapy.  I coordinate the suicide invention program for the SCS and currently provide QPR (Questions, Persuade, Refer) trainings to faculty, staff and students across the campus community.  In addition, I am interested in work related to spirituality and grief.  I am involved with the training program at the SCS and supervision.  I love helping new counselors develop their professional identities.  When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.  We enjoy finding an adventure in the Rocky Mountains or fishing on the Texas Coast.
