Lanice Chappell Bio

Assistant Director

Personal Statement:
I love my work and the opportunity to share in the developmental process with our students. As a 2x Aggie, I bleed maroon and can't think of a better place to live and work than in Aggieland. I have worked with a wide range of ages and issues from young children to geriatric adults. The college population is my favorite! Despite an explosive degree of developmental changes, it takes very little guidance to see dramatic changes in this group. I appreciate every day that I get to participate in this change and watch students come into their own way of being.

I approach counseling from a holistic viewpoint, believing that students have multiple facets and challenges during these years on campus. From academics, to career, to personal concerns, each piece makes the student who he or she is and will become.

Thanks and Gig 'Em,
Lanice, Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '00
