Psychology Intern

Personal Statement:
I am thrilled and honored to support Texas A&M students in their journeys to connect with others and to experience more of who they are. With enthusiasm and energy I look forward to developing therapeutic relationships with my clients, to foster an environment of acceptance in hopes that each may experience more freedom in the process of self-discovery. I admire the courageous choice that many students make to look within to better understand themselves and others.

My professional interests are many, but I am particularly interested in working with couple's and relationships, and women's issues, such as surviving sexual trauma and eating disorders. In addition I am interested in LGBT concerns as well as Hispanic topics. Personally, I enjoy spending time with my best friend and husband of 24 years as well as our four incredible children. For fun I enjoy baking, going out for coffee and hanging with my family. I especially appreciate the effort and patience that come with balancing a big family and an academic career!
