Ronald L. Lutz

Psychologist IV

Personal Statement:
At this point in my career, I have come to believe that the practice of psychotherapy is an art which is developed and nurtured over time through study, perseverance, and a desire to help others live more fully. The work I do at the SCS represents my commitment to refine my understanding and practice of this art. In addition to practicing individual and group psychotherapy, I very much enjoy participating in the supervision and training of psychologists. In both therapy and supervision I view myself as helping others to expand, enhance, and enliven awareness of themselves and their world, based on my belief that increased awareness leads to more possibilities for living fully through the exercise of choice. I have a long standing interest in the use of clinical hypnosis in psychotherapy.
