Professional Counselor II

Personal Statement:
I am truly excited for the opportunity to work with students toward reaching their academic and career goals. I enjoy helping students obtain personal growth and excellence in all areas of their lives. I believe in empowering students to find their own wisdom, strength and abilities to meet life's challenges and realize their dreams. I value diversity and teamwork, and I'm fortunate to be part of the supportive family of SCS. In my leisure time, I like reading, music, movies, spending time with my husband and playing with my three kitties.

Areas of Special Interest:
Academic skills development, career counseling, biofeedback program for stress reduction, relationship issues, and multicultural counseling.


Theoretical Orientation:
Integrative approaches utilizing cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and solution focused interventions.
